Sarah is the founding attorney of her solo law practice based in Miami, Florida, where she focuses on providing personalized legal services in Medicaid planning, probate, bankruptcy, and family law. Sarah is a Miami native and offers affordable Family and Estate legal services in English and Spanish tailored to the needs of South Florida’s residents. Before law school, Sarah graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from Florida State University in 2020, where she majored in Economics.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 2023. During law school, she gained valuable experience clerking for a Miami-based business, tax, and estate planning firm, where she drafted and reviewed estate planning documents, conducted tax liability analyses, and performed in-depth legal research. She also served as an extern for the University of Miami’s Office of Estate and Gift Planning and volunteered during law school with Funding Florida Legal Aid (formerly known as the Florida Bar Foundation) to assist attorneys with pro bono estate planning matters such as simple wills, living wills, health care surrogate designation, durable powers of attorney, HIPAA releases for low-income Floridians in need of legal assistance.
Sarah began her legal career as an associate attorney at Dentons Cohen & Grigsby in Naples, Florida, where she worked in the firm’s Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation Group. At Dentons Cohen & Grigsby she drafted tax-efficient estate planning documents including wills, trust, and ancillary documents. Her work there strengthened her understanding of high-net-worth estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.
